The Mexico real estate industry has suffered through two extremely volatile years. The country has had to cope with the economic crisis, the H1N1 outbreak and safety and security issues arising from recent incidents causing negative publicity. This has triggered many real estate professionals to re-evaluate investments, change projects and restructure their financial planning. 2011 is showing signs of improvement, which means that the sector will start reactivating, both on the tourism side and on the real estate development side. This one and one half day conference, with group live instruction will provide insight by expert speakers on topics of interest, from the analysis of the effects of the economic crisis and an analysis of the current state of the major tourism destinations for development to the current tax and legal issues and considerations for starting or reactivating development projects. There will also be specialized panels on the importance of viral marketing, access to capital, mortgages and the hospitality industry along with an exhibition area for sponsors and supporters to network and share information . Conference organizers will be providing an optional final day familiarization trip to the prominent Riviera Nayarit region where participants can become acquainted with the current status of developments in the region.
